Patrick Sterrett

As the Assistant Chief Scout Executive & National Director of Field Service, Patrick Sterrett leads the BSA’s four regions and their support operations, as
well as other key operations at the National Service Center. He and his team are focused on membership growth and the programs needed to deliver the BSA’s mission to as many youth as possible.Patrick began his career in the Daniel Webster Council in Manchester,
New Hampshire, where he served in a number of roles. He moved on to the National Capital Area Council in Bethesda, Maryland, where he served as the endowment director, director of development, director of field service, and deputy Scout executive. Patrick was then selected as Scout executive of the Del-Mar-Va Council in Wilmington, Delaware, followed by a short stint as area director in the Northeast Region. For the four years immediately prior to this assignment in the National Office, Patrick successfully served as Scout executive of the Crossroads of America Council in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Patrick is a graduate of Susquehanna University in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania. He is an Eagle Scout, Vigil Member of the Order of the Arrow, and a former Wood Badge staff member.
Patrick and his wife Lori have three Eagle Scout sons – Michael, Travis, and Zach. His hobbies include tennis, golf, running, and Notre Dame sports.
